Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the city center of Leiden, head towards the train station, which is about a 10-minute walk away. Upon reaching the station, take a train to Amsterdam Central Station. The train ride will take approximately 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and proceed to the front square. From there, walk straight down towards the Damrak, which is the main street leading away from the station. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the Warmoesstraat. Turn left onto Warmoesstraat and then take the first right onto Oudezijds Armsteeg. Continue walking for a few minutes, and you will find Brouwerij De Prael at Oudezijds Armsteeg 26.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the several bike rental shops near the city center of Leiden. Once you have your bike, head towards the city exit towards the A44 motorway, which will take you to the N206. Follow the signs towards Amsterdam, which will guide you along the scenic route through fields and small towns. Once you reach Amsterdam, follow the signs to the city center. Park your bike at a designated bike parking area near Amsterdam Central Station. From there, head towards the Damrak and turn onto Warmoesstraat, then take a right onto Oudezijds Armsteeg, where you will find Brouwerij De Prael at number 26.

  Start at the nearest bus or tram stop in Leiden. You can take bus line 43 or tram line 20 towards Amsterdam. Make sure to check the bus or tram schedule for the exact times. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and walk straight towards Damrak.
