From Leiden Centraal Station, take the train towards Amsterdam Centraal. Get off at Weesp Station. From there, transfer to bus line 110 towards Muiden and get off at the 'Muiden, Herengracht' stop, which is a short walk from Muiderslot. The entrance is located at Herengracht 1.

If you're comfortable biking, rent a bicycle in Leiden. Head northeast on the Breestraat and then follow the signs to the A44 road towards Amsterdam. Once you reach the junction, continue on the N520 towards Muiden. Follow the signs for Muiderslot, and you'll find it at Herengracht 1.
