Public Transport
From Leiden Central Station, take the train towards The Hague (Den Haag). The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at The Hague Central Station, exit the station and walk to the tram stop located right outside the station. Take tram line 9 towards Scheveningen. Stay on the tram for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Zwarte Pad' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Neptunusstraat. Turn left onto Zwarte Pad and continue straight until you reach Neptunusstraat, then turn right. The Muzee Scheveningen will be on your left at Neptunusstraat 90-92.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Leiden. Start at the center of Leiden and head south towards the N206. Follow the signs towards The Hague (Den Haag), which is approximately 15 km away. The ride will take around 45 minutes to an hour. Once you arrive in The Hague, continue cycling towards Scheveningen. Follow the signs for the beach, and you will reach Neptunusstraat. The Muzee Scheveningen is located at Neptunusstraat 90-92.
Walking
While walking from Leiden to The Hague is quite a long distance (about 15 km), you can do a scenic route. Start from the center of Leiden and head south towards the Haarlemmermeer. Follow the path along the water and towards The Hague, making your way to Scheveningen. This route will take you through beautiful landscapes and may take about 3-4 hours. Once you arrive in Scheveningen, find Neptunusstraat and head to 90-92 where the Muzee Scheveningen is located.
