Start at the Leiden Central Station. Exit the station and head southwest on Stationsweg. Turn right onto Beestenmarkt and continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Herengracht. Turn left onto Herengracht and walk until you reach the bridge over the canal. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto the Breestraat. Walk along Breestraat until you reach the intersection with the Botermarkt. Here, turn right onto the Botermarkt, and continue walking until you reach the main square, Markt. From Markt, take the bus number 43 towards Utrecht and get off at the 'Utrecht, Vaartsche Rijn' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Agnietenstraat 2, where the Nijntje Museum is located.
Bus
From Leiden Central Station, head to the bus station right outside the station. Look for bus line 43 towards Utrecht. Board the bus and enjoy the ride; it should take about 30-35 minutes. Get off at the 'Utrecht, Vaartsche Rijn' bus stop. From there, walk a few minutes to Agnietenstraat 2. The Nijntje Museum is located just a short stroll from the bus stop.
Train
At Leiden Central Station, buy a ticket for a train to Utrecht Central Station. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Utrecht Central Station, follow the signs to the exit and head towards the bus stop. Take bus number 43 towards 'Utrecht, Vaartsche Rijn'. Get off at the 'Utrecht, Vaartsche Rijn' stop and walk a short distance to Agnietenstraat 2 for the Nijntje Museum.
