From Leiden Central Station, head southwest toward Stationsplein. Once you exit the station, turn right onto Stationsplein and follow the signs for the bus station. Take bus number 40 towards Amsterdam, which departs frequently. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach Amsterdam, Bijlmer Arena. From there, transfer to train line Intercity towards Amsterdam Centraal. Get off at Amsterdam Centraal station. From the station, exit toward the front and head to the left along the waterfront area until you reach the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam at Piet Heinkade 27.

At Leiden Central Station, purchase a ticket to Amsterdam Centraal. Trains run frequently, typically every 15 minutes. The journey will take about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and walk toward the waterfront. Keep walking along the water until you reach Piet Heinkade. The Passenger Terminal Amsterdam will be on your left side at number 27.
