Walking
If you are starting from the city center of Leiden, head east on Breestraat towards the Hooglandse Kerkgracht. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Haarlemmerstraat and turn right. Follow Haarlemmerstraat until it merges into the Hooigracht, which you will continue along. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, turn left onto the Langegracht, which will lead you to the train station. From there, take a train to Rotterdam Centraal Station, which takes about 20 minutes.
Public Transport
From Leiden Central Station, take the Intercity train towards Rotterdam Centraal. The journey takes around 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Rotterdam Centraal, exit the station and head towards the main square, following signs for the 'Stadhuis' (City Hall). From the square, you can see signs directing you to Plein 1940, which is about a 10-minute walk straight ahead.
