    From Leiden, head to Leiden Centraal Station. Purchase a ticket for Rotterdam, and board a train heading towards Rotterdam Centraal. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Rotterdam Centraal, follow the signs to the metro station.

  • Metro

    At Rotterdam Centraal, take the Metro Line D (the yellow line) in the direction of 'De Akkers'. After about 7 stops, get off at the 'Blijdorp' station. Exit the metro station and head towards Blijdorplaan.

  • Walking

    From Blijdorp metro station, take the exit towards Blijdorplaan. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, following the signs for Rotterdam Zoo. The entrance will be on your right at Blijdorplaan 8.
