Walking
From the center of Leiden, head towards the main train station, Leiden Centraal. Once you are at the station, take the train to Amsterdam Zuid. The train journey will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Amsterdam Zuid, exit the station and head southwest on Gustav Mahlerlaan. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Van der Boechorststraat. Turn left onto Van der Boechorststraat and walk straight. Sarphatipark will be on your right after a few minutes of walking.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle in Leiden and head towards the Oude Singel. Follow the bike path along the Singel to the north. Continue until you reach the N206 road. Take the N206 north towards Amsterdam. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach Amsterdam. Follow the signs to Amsterdam Zuid, and then navigate to Sarphatipark by biking along Gustav Mahlerlaan and then turning onto Van der Boechorststraat, where you will find the park.
Public Transport
From Leiden, take the bus line 43 from Leiden Central Station towards Amsterdam. Get off at the 'Zuid' stop. From there, walk southwest on Gustav Mahlerlaan until you reach Van der Boechorststraat. Turn left and walk a short distance until you see Sarphatipark on your right.
