Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at Leiden Central Station. Exit the station and head towards the bus stop located directly outside. Take Bus 43 towards Amsterdam. After about 30 minutes, get off at 'Amsterdam, Leidseplein' stop. From there, walk towards the Leidseplein square, then turn onto Korte Leidsedwarsstraat. Continue walking straight for about 5 minutes, and you will find The Waterhole at number 49 on your right.

  • Train and Walking

    From Leiden Central Station, take a train to Amsterdam Centraal Station. The journey takes around 35 minutes. Upon arrival at Amsterdam Centraal, follow signs to the tram station located just outside the main entrance. Take Tram 1, 2, or 5 towards Leidseplein. Get off at the 'Leidseplein' stop. From there, walk towards Korte Leidsedwarsstraat. The Waterhole is located at number 49, just a 5-minute walk from the tram stop.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near Leiden Central Station. Head towards the N206 road and follow it north towards Amsterdam. After about 30 minutes of cycling, you will reach the outskirts of Amsterdam. Continue onto the streets leading to the city center and follow signs to Leidseplein. Once at Leidseplein, take a left onto Korte Leidsedwarsstraat, and The Waterhole will be at number 49.
