Public Transport
From the Leiden Central Station, take a train to Amsterdam Centraal Station. The journey takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and walk towards the front. From there, head left and walk to the bus terminal adjacent to the station. Take bus 48 towards 'Zuid' and get off at 'Danzigerkade' stop. The Theater Amsterdam will be a short walk from the bus stop, located at Danzigerkade 5.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Leiden and head towards Amsterdam. The most direct route is to follow the N206 road towards Amsterdam, which will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour depending on your pace. Upon reaching Amsterdam, continue towards the north side of the city and follow signs to the harbor area where Danzigerkade is located. The Theater Amsterdam is at Danzigerkade 5.
Walking
Walking from Leiden to Amsterdam is quite a trek (approximately 45 kilometers), so it's not recommended. However, if you want a scenic route, you can walk to the nearest train station (Leiden Central) and take a train to Amsterdam Centraal, then follow the public transport instructions above from there.
