Walking
From the center of Leiden, head towards the Leiden Central Station. Once you reach the station, take the train heading to Amsterdam Central Station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. After arriving at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and walk straight towards the IJ river. Turn right and walk along the river until you reach the first major street. Turn left onto the street and follow it until you reach the intersection with Anne Frankstraat. Turn right onto Anne Frankstraat and continue walking until you reach Wertheimpark, which will be on your left side.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Leiden. Begin your ride towards the train station and take the train to Amsterdam Central Station. Once you arrive, continue riding your bicycle out of the station. Head towards the IJ river and follow the waterfront. After a short ride, turn left at the first major intersection onto Anne Frankstraat. Continue cycling until you reach Wertheimpark, which will be on your left side.
Public Transport
From your location in Leiden, make your way to the nearest bus stop. Take bus line 40 or 43 to Leiden Central Station. Once at the station, buy a train ticket to Amsterdam Central Station. The train ride will take approximately 40 minutes. After arriving at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and take tram line 14 in the direction of Flevopark. Get off at the stop 'Anne Frankstraat'. Walk a short distance down Anne Frankstraat, and you will find Wertheimpark on your left.
