    Walking

    If you are starting from Leiden Central Station, exit the station and head east on Stationsweg. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Haarlemmerstraat. Turn right onto Haarlemmerstraat and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Breestraat. At Breestraat, turn left and continue walking until you reach the large square (Oude Rijn) in front of the old city hall. From here, walk towards the Nieuwe Rijn river and take a left. Follow the river until you reach the canal at the end, where you will see a bridge. Cross the bridge and proceed straight ahead. You will see the Burcht van Leiden on your right side as you approach Van der Sterrepad.

    If you are starting from the National Museum of Antiquities (Rijksmuseum van Oudheden), exit the museum and head west on Rapenburg. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the Breestraat. Turn right onto Breestraat and walk straight until the large square (Oude Rijn) appears in front of you. Walk towards the Nieuwe Rijn river and take a left. Follow the river until you reach the canal at the end, where you will see a bridge. Cross the bridge, continue straight ahead, and the Burcht van Leiden will be on your right side as you approach Van der Sterrepad.

Turn left onto Rapenburg and continue walking until you reach the intersection with the Breestraat. Turn right onto Breestraat and walk until you reach the large square (Oude Rijn). Walk towards the Nieuwe Rijn river and take a left. Follow the river until you reach the canal at the end, where you will see a bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight ahead, with the Burcht van Leiden on your right side as you approach Van der Sterrepad.
