Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the city center (for example, from the Markt), head towards the Beestenmarkt square. From Beestenmarkt, walk towards the Molen de Valk (the windmill). Continue walking straight until you reach the Galgewater canal. Turn right along the canal and follow the path for about 10 minutes. The Rembrandt Bridge will be on your left, just before you reach the intersection with the Haarlemmerstraat.

    If you have a bicycle, start from the city center and head towards the Beestenmarkt. From Beestenmarkt, take the first left onto the Nieuwe Rijn. Continue cycling straight until you reach the Galgewater canal. Turn right and cycle along the canal for about 5 minutes. The Rembrandt Bridge will be on your left just before you reach Haarlemmerstraat.
