    Getting There

    Walking

    Start at the Leiden Central Station. Exit the station and head towards the bus station in front of the station. Take bus 43 towards Amsterdam. Get off at Amsterdam, Centraal Station (this will take about 30-35 minutes). From Centraal Station, walk towards the IJ river, then turn left onto the Damrak. Continue straight until you reach Dam Square, and from there, take the Rokin street heading south. After about a 10-minute walk, turn right onto Prinsengracht. Van Brienenhofje will be on your right at the address Prinsengracht 89-133.

    Biking

    If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the rental shops near Leiden Central Station. Once you have your bike, head towards the A44 road and follow the signs towards Amsterdam. The route is approximately 38 km and will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Upon arriving in Amsterdam, follow the signs to the city center, and then navigate to Prinsengracht. The Van Brienenhofje will be located at Prinsengracht 89-133.

    Train

    From Leiden Central Station, take a direct train to Amsterdam Centraal. The train journey will take around 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and walk towards the city center via the Damrak. After about 10 minutes, you will reach Dam Square. From there, take Rokin street southwards, then turn right onto Prinsengracht, and you will find Van Brienenhofje at Prinsengracht 89-133.
