If you are in the center of Leiden, start by heading towards the 'Leidse Singel' canal. Walk south along the canal until you reach the 'Langebrug' bridge. Turn right onto 'Haarlemmerstraat' and keep walking until you see 'Stationsweg' on your left. Turn left and follow the signs to the train station. From there, take a train to Utrecht. Follow the bike path that leads south towards 'Oude Singel'. Continue along the canal until you reach 'Langegracht'. From there, follow the bike path to 'Haarlemmerstraat' and head towards the train station. Once at the station, take a train to Utrecht. The ride lasts around 30 minutes. After arriving at Utrecht Central Station, bike towards 'Vredenburgplein' which is nearby.
Public Transport
To reach Vredenburgplein via public transport, first make your way to the nearest bus stop in Leiden, such as 'Leiden, Centraal Station'. From there, take bus line 40 towards 'Utrecht, Vaartsche Rijn'. This ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. When you arrive at 'Utrecht, Vaartsche Rijn', transfer to tram line 2 or 3 and ride to 'Vredenburg'. The total journey should take around 1 hour, so ensure you check the bus and tram schedules before starting your trip.
