Walking
From the center of Leiden, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located at 'Leiden, Station.' Take Bus 30 towards 'Utrecht, Vaartsche Rijn.' After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the 'Utrecht, Vaartsche Rijn' stop. From there, walk straight along the 'Vaartsche Rijn' street until you reach the 'Lauwerhof' street. Turn right onto 'Lauwerhof,' and you will find the Watertower Lauwerhof at number 29. This is a historical landmark and should be easy to spot.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Leiden. Start your journey from the city center and head towards the 'Langegracht.' Continue cycling straight until you reach 'Oude Singel.' Turn left onto 'Oude Singel' and continue until you reach the 'Zijlpoort.' Cross the bridge and follow the path along the canal until you reach 'Lauwerhof.' Turn right onto 'Lauwerhof,' and the Watertower Lauwerhof will be located at number 29.
Public Transport
From Leiden Central Station, take a train to Utrecht Central Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Utrecht Central Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. Take Bus 2 or 3 towards 'Lauwerhof.' After around 10 minutes, get off at the 'Lauwerhof' stop. The Watertower is just a short walk away; head towards 'Lauwerhof 29,' and you'll see the historical landmark.
