    From Maastricht, head to the bus stop 'Maastricht, Station'. Board bus line 350 towards 'Valkenburg'. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Disembark at 'Valkenburg, Cauberg'. From the bus stop, walk 5 minutes uphill along Cauberg street, and you will find the Gemeentegrot at Cauberg 4.

    Train and Bus

    Take a train from Maastricht train station to Valkenburg. Trains run frequently and the journey takes approximately 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Valkenburg Station, exit the station and take bus line 4 towards 'Valkenburg, Cauberg'. Get off at the 'Valkenburg, Cauberg' stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk uphill along Cauberg street to Gemeentegrot located at Cauberg 4.

    If you're feeling adventurous and wish to walk, start from the center of Maastricht and head towards the 'Sint Servaasbrug', crossing the river Maas. Continue on to follow the signs towards Valkenburg. The walk is approximately 9 km and will take around 1 hour and 45 minutes. Follow the path along the river, then take the main road leading into Valkenburg. Once in Valkenburg, ascend Cauberg street, and the Gemeentegrot will be on your left at Cauberg 4.
