Get off at 'Herkenrodeabdij' stop which is a short walk from the abbey. The entire journey will take approximately 1 hour.

    Start at Maastricht train station and take a train to Hasselt. Once you arrive at Hasselt station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. Take bus line 7 towards 'Kuringen' and get off at 'Herkenrodeabdij' stop. The total travel time, including the train and bus, is around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Maastricht. Head north across the Maas river and follow the signs for the bike route towards Hasselt.
