Getting There

    From the central bus station in Nijmegen, take bus number 5 towards 'Ooy'. The bus leaves every 15-20 minutes. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes. You will arrive at the 'Ooij' stop. Once you get off the bus, you can walk towards the nature preserve, which is a short 10-minute walk along the scenic paths.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Nijmegen, such as 'Fietsenstalling Nijmegen' near the central station. Head south on 'Schaepmanstraat' and follow the signs to the 'Ooijpolder'. The ride will take around 30 minutes, and you’ll enjoy beautiful views along the route. Once you arrive in Ooij, you can easily find the entrance to the nature preserve.
