Getting there

Walking

If you are at Nijmegen Central Station, exit the station and head southeast on Stationsplein toward Tunnelweg. Continue straight onto Tunnelweg, then take a slight left onto Waalkade. Follow Waalkade along the Waal River for about 1 km. When you reach the intersection with St. Annastraat, turn left. Continue straight until you reach Benedenstad. The Barbarossa-ruïne is located in Benedenstad, 6511 TB Nijmegen.

Public Transport

From Nijmegen Central Station, take bus number 1 or 5 from the bus terminal located next to the station. Ride the bus for approximately 5 minutes and get off at the stop called 'Benedenstad'. Once you exit the bus, walk straight ahead on Benedenstraat until you see Barbarossa-ruïne on your left.

Cycling

If you have access to a bike, you can rent one near Nijmegen Central Station. From the station, head southeast on Stationsplein, then take Tunnelweg. After that, follow Waalkade along the river for about 1 km. When you reach the intersection with St. Annastraat, turn left and continue straight to Benedenstad. The Barbarossa-ruïne will be on your left side.
