Walking
From Nijmegen Central Station, exit the station and head south towards the city center. Walk down the 'Stationsplein' and continue straight onto 'Houtstraat'. After about 500 meters, you will reach 'Groentemarkt'. Continue straight onto 'Van Welderenstraat', which will lead you to a larger square called 'Waalkade'. Once you are at 'Waalkade', turn left and walk towards the river Waal. You will see the pedestrian bridge known as 'Waalbrug'. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach 'Johan Maelwaelplein', which is a square located in front of the 'Huis van de Nijmeegse Geschiedenis'.
Public Transport
From Nijmegen Central Station, take bus number 1 or 5 in the direction of 'Nijmegen-Centrum'. Get off at the 'Keizer Karelplein' stop, which is about a 10-minute ride. After getting off the bus, walk towards 'Burgemeester Dalestraat', then turn right onto 'Houtstraat'. Continue straight until you reach 'Groentemarkt'. From there, follow 'Van Welderenstraat' to 'Waalkade', then turn left towards 'Waalbrug'. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you arrive at 'Johan Maelwaelplein'.
