From Nijmegen Central Station, take the train to Zutphen. Trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes around 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Zutphen Station, exit the station and walk towards the city center. Follow the signs for 'Centrum' and head straight down the main street (Hanzestraat). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ruiterstraat. Turn left onto Ruiterstraat and follow it until you reach the Kerkhof, located at 7201 DK Zutphen. The Kerkhof is a short walk from the city center and is easily recognizable.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Nijmegen. Start at the central square (Plein 1944) and head towards the Waal Bridge (Waalkade). Cross the bridge and follow the cycle path towards Zutphen. The distance is approximately 25 kilometers, and it will take about 1 to 1.5 hours to reach Zutphen. Once you arrive in Zutphen, follow the signs towards the city center. The Kerkhof is located at 7201 DK Zutphen, just a short bike ride from the center.
Walking
Walking from Nijmegen to Zutphen is quite a trek, as it is approximately 25 kilometers. If you're feeling adventurous, start at Nijmegen Central Station and head towards the Waal Bridge. Cross the bridge, then follow the paths along the river Waal until you reach the outskirts of Zutphen. From there, continue into the city center and head towards the Kerkhof. This walk can take around 5 to 6 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
