If you are in the city center of Nijmegen, start at the Grote Markt, which is a central square. Head southeast on the Korte Burchtstraat towards the Molenstraat. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Waalkade. From there, turn left onto the Waalkade, which runs alongside the river Waal. Follow the Waalkade for about 1.5 kilometers. You'll have the river on your right and will pass several cafes and parks. Continue until you reach the Nijmegen Railway Bridge, which will be visible ahead as you approach.
