Start at the Nijmegen Central Station. Exit the station and head south onto the Stationsplein. Continue straight to the bus stop area. Look for bus line 5, which goes to Oosterhout. Board the bus and ride for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Oosterhout' stop. From there, walk south on Oosterhoutsedijk for about 10 minutes. The Waal Crossing Memorial will be on your right at Oosterhoutsedijk 90.

If you have access to a bicycle, rent one from a local bike rental shop near the city center. Start from the city center and head northwest towards the Waal river. Follow the riverbank path (Waalkade) until you reach the bridge (Waalbrug). Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Oosterhoutsedijk. The Waal Crossing Memorial will be located at Oosterhoutsedijk 90 on your left after a short ride.
