Car
If you're driving to Vismarkt in Alkmaar, start on the A9 highway. Follow the signs for Alkmaar. Take exit 18 towards Alkmaar and merge onto the N242. Continue on the N242 until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the N9 towards Alkmaar. As you approach the city, follow signs for Alkmaar Center. Once in the city, look for parking options nearby, such as the Parking De Vest or Parking Karpertunnel. After parking, it's a short walk to Vismarkt, located at 1811 JA Alkmaar.
Train
To reach Vismarkt by train, head to your nearest train station in North Holland and take a train to Alkmaar station. Trains run frequently from major cities like Amsterdam and Haarlem. Once you arrive at Alkmaar station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Stationsweg. Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights, then turn right onto Verdronkenoord. Follow this road until you reach the Vismarkt square, located at 1811 JA Alkmaar. The walk is approximately 15 minutes.
Bus
If you prefer to take the bus, check the local bus schedules for routes that go to Alkmaar. Many buses from surrounding towns and cities will drop you off at the Alkmaar bus station. From there, exit the bus station and walk towards the city center. Head along the path towards the main square and follow signs pointing to Vismarkt. The walk from the bus station to Vismarkt takes about 10-12 minutes.
