Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Haarlem, take the A200 towards Amsterdam. Merge onto the A10 ring road and take exit S106 towards Amsterdam-Zuid. Follow signs for the city center. Once you reach the center, find parking at one of the nearby garages such as Q-Park Europarking or Parking Centrum. From the parking garage, walk towards the Amstel River, then head north towards Thorbeckeplein, which is located just south of the river.

Take a train from any major station in North Holland, such as Haarlem or Alkmaar, to Amsterdam Central Station. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central, exit the station and head towards the tram stop in front of the station. Take tram line 4 or 9 and get off at the 'Rembrandtplein' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to Thorbeckeplein; simply head east along Rembrandtplein and turn left onto Thorbeckeplein.

Bus
From various locations in North Holland, you can take a bus to Amsterdam Central Station. Once at Central Station, you can either walk towards Thorbeckeplein, which is about a 20-minute walk, or take a tram. If you choose the tram, board tram line 4 or 9 from the stop outside the station and disembark at 'Rembrandtplein'. From there, walk east along Rembrandtplein and turn left onto Thorbeckeplein.
