If you're driving, head towards Hoogvliet Rotterdam. From the center of Rijnmond, take the A15 motorway southbound. Exit at Hoogvliet (exit 18) and follow signs for the N218. Continue on N218 until you see signs for Ruigeplaatbos. The park's address is 3193 GA Hoogvliet Rotterdam. There is parking available near the entrance, which is free.
Public Transportation
To reach Ruigeplaatbos via public transport, start by taking a train to Rotterdam Central Station. From there, transfer to the metro line E towards Dordecht. Get off at the station 'Hoogvliet'. After exiting the station, take bus line 68 towards 'Heijplaat'. Get off at the stop 'Ruigeplaatbos'. The bus ride costs approximately €3.50 and tickets can be purchased at the station or directly from the bus driver.
Walking
If you're already in Hoogvliet and prefer walking, from the Hoogvliet metro station, head southwest on the 'Havenweg'. Continue straight until you reach the park entrance. The walk is approximately 1.5 kilometers and will take about 20 minutes. It's a pleasant walk through the neighborhood.
