If you are starting from Rotterdam Central Station, take the intercity train towards Leiden. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Leiden Central Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal located just outside. Look for bus line 3, which goes towards 'Leiden, Beestenmarkt.' Get off at the 'Leiden, Beestenmarkt' stop. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to Hooglandse Kerk. Head southeast on Beestenmarkt, then turn right onto Hooigracht. Continue straight until you reach Nieuwstraat. Turn left onto Nieuwstraat, and the church will be on your right at number 20.

If you are already in the city center of Leiden, you can reach Hooglandse Kerk by walking. Start at the Beestenmarkt, which is a well-known square in the center. From Beestenmarkt, head southeast and take the first left onto Hooigracht. Continue straight on Hooigracht until you reach the intersection with Nieuwstraat. Turn left onto Nieuwstraat, and you will find Hooglandse Kerk on your right at number 20. The walk should take about 10 minutes.
