Train
If you're starting from Rotterdam Central Station, take a direct train to Den Haag Centraal. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Den Haag Centraal, exit the station and head towards the tram station located just outside the main entrance.

At Den Haag Centraal tram station, board tram line 2 towards 'Scheveningen'. You will need to ride the tram for about 8 stops. Get off at the 'Plein' stop. From there, it's just a short walk to Mauritshuis. Head straight along the Plein square, and you will see the museum at Plein 29 on your left.

Alternatively, you can take bus line 22 from Den Haag Centraal towards 'Ziekenhuis Leyenburg'. Ride for about 4 stops and get off at 'Plein'. Once you disembark, walk towards the square, and Mauritshuis will be directly in front of you at Plein 29.

If you prefer to walk from Den Haag Centraal, exit the station and head southwest towards the 'Buitenhof' street. Follow the Buitenhof until you reach the 'Plein' square. It’s about a 25-minute walk. When you reach Plein, look for Mauritshuis at Plein 29, which is a prominent building on the square.
