If you are near Leiden Centraal Station, exit the station and head southwest on Stationsweg. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the first major intersection. Turn right onto Haarlemmerstraat and walk for another 300 meters. At the end of Haarlemmerstraat, turn left onto Kruitschip. Van der Werf Park will be on your left after about 200 meters.

From Leiden Centraal Station, take bus line 2 towards 'Merenwijk' and get off at the 'Kruitschip' stop, which is just a few stops away. After exiting the bus, walk straight ahead for about 100 meters. Van der Werf Park will be directly in front of you.
