Getting there

Walking

If you are starting from Rotterdam Central Station, exit the train station and head towards the main square, 'Stationsplein'. From there, turn left onto 'C.S. Rotterdam'. Continue straight until you reach a large roundabout. Cross the road to reach 'Lijnbaan', a popular shopping street. Walk down 'Lijnbaan' until you reach the intersection with 'Beursplein'. Turn right onto 'Beursplein'. Continue straight, and you will see the Erasmus Monument at 'Grotekerkplein 50', just ahead on your left.

Tram

From Rotterdam Central Station, take tram line 4 towards 'Tussenwater'. After about 5 stops, get off at 'Beurs' tram stop. From there, walk down 'Beursplein' until you reach 'Grotekerkplein'. The Erasmus Monument will be located at 'Grotekerkplein 50', on your right.

Metro

From Rotterdam Central Station, take the metro line D (towards 'De Akkers') or E (towards 'Slinge'). Get off at 'Beurs' station. Once you exit the metro, follow the signs to 'Beursplein'. Walk straight ahead to 'Grotekerkplein', where the Erasmus Monument is located at 'Grotekerkplein 50'.
