Getting There

  • Walking

    To reach Koningsplein from the center of Keukenhof Gardens, exit the gardens and head towards the entrance. Once outside, turn left and walk towards the closest bus stop. Follow the signs directing you to the nearest public transport option, which is a bus that will take you to Leiden. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at Leiden Central Station. From the station, take a train towards Amsterdam Central Station. The train ride will take around 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit and head towards the Dam Square. From Dam Square, walk straight along Damstraat until you reach Koningsplein, which is a short 10-minute walk.

  • Public Transportation

    After visiting Keukenhof Gardens, walk to the nearest bus stop outside the gardens. Board the bus heading to Leiden Central Station. The journey will take about 30 minutes. At Leiden Central, switch to a train towards Amsterdam Central Station. The train ride will take approximately 35 minutes. Once you arrive in Amsterdam, exit the station and head towards the Dam Square. Koningsplein is just a 10-minute walk from there. Follow the street signs towards Damstraat, and you will arrive at your destination.

  • Car

    If you are driving from Keukenhof Gardens to Koningsplein, exit the gardens and turn left onto the N208 road. Follow the N208 until you merge onto the A4 highway towards Amsterdam. Continue on the A4 for about 30 minutes, then take the A10 ring road exit towards Amsterdam Centrum. After exiting, follow signs for S100 and then for the city center. Once in the city center, follow the signs to Dam Square, and from there, it's a short walk to Koningsplein. Make sure to find nearby parking, as street parking can be limited.
