Getting there

Train

If you're starting from Amsterdam Central Station, head to the train platforms and take a train to Gouda. Look for a train that goes to either 'Gouda' or 'Gouda Goverwelle.' The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Gouda train station, exit the station and turn left onto Stationweg. Continue straight until you reach the traffic lights, then turn left onto Burgemeester Jamessingel. Follow this road until you reach the first intersection, then turn right onto Vest. Continue walking until you reach Vest 252, where the Museumhaven Gouda is located.

Bus

From Amsterdam, you can also take a bus to Gouda. Head to Amsterdam Sloterdijk bus station and catch a bus that goes to Gouda. The bus ride typically takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Gouda bus station, exit and walk towards the train station. From the train station, follow the same directions as mentioned above: turn left onto Stationweg, then left onto Burgemeester Jamessingel, and finally turn right onto Vest until you reach Vest 252.

Bicycle

For the adventurous tourist, renting a bicycle is a great way to explore the Netherlands. From Amsterdam, you can cycle to Gouda, which is approximately 50 km away.
