Car
If you are driving from the main ferry terminal in Texel, head southwest on the N501 road towards the mainland. Merge onto the N9 road towards Alkmaar. Continue on the N9 for about 35 km. Once you reach Alkmaar, follow the signs for the city center. As you approach the city, take the exit towards the 'Centrum' and continue along the Ritsevoort street until you arrive at Hofje van Splinter, located at Ritsevoort 2.

Start your journey by taking the bus from Texel to Den Helder. From Den Helder, board the train towards Alkmaar. The train journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Alkmaar station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. Take bus line 2 or 4 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Centrum' stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Hofje van Splinter located at Ritsevoort 2. Head east on the Langestraat, turn right onto Ritsevoort, and you will find the museum on your left.
