If you're driving, start from the main town of Texel, Den Burg. Head south on the N501 road towards the ferry terminal in 't Horntje. After reaching the terminal, take the ferry to Den Helder on the mainland. Once in Den Helder, follow signs for the A9 motorway towards Alkmaar. Continue on the A9 for about 35 kilometers, then take the exit for Alkmaar. Follow the signs to the city center. Vismarkt is located at 1811 JA Alkmaar. Look for parking options nearby as the area can get busy.
Public Transportation
To reach Vismarkt using public transport, start by taking a bus from Den Burg to 't Horntje ferry terminal. From the ferry terminal, board the ferry to Den Helder. Once you arrive in Den Helder, take a train from Den Helder station to Alkmaar station. The train journey takes about 30 minutes. When you arrive at Alkmaar station, exit the station and head towards the city center on foot (approximately a 15-minute walk). Follow the signs to Vismarkt, located at 1811 JA Alkmaar.
