    Train

    From The Hague Central Station (Den Haag Centraal), purchase a ticket to Haarlem. Trains to Haarlem run frequently, so check the schedule on the NS (Dutch Railways) website or at the station. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Haarlem Station, exit the station and head towards the city center. Follow the signs to the bus or train exit and once you are out, turn right onto the Kruisstraat. After about 10 minutes of walking straight, you will reach the Gasthuisstraat. Turn left onto Gasthuisstraat, and after a short walk, you will find de Bibliotheek Haarlem Centrum at number 32 on your right.

    Bus

    From The Hague, take bus line 20 from the nearest bus stop to your location in The Hague to the bus station at The Hague Central Station (Den Haag Centraal). From there, switch to train line to Haarlem. The bus ride to the train station will take about 10-15 minutes, and then the train ride to Haarlem will take approximately 30 minutes. Once at Haarlem Station, head towards the city center as described above.
