Train
From The Hague Central Station (Den Haag Centraal), take a train towards Haarlem. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Haarlem Station, exit the station and turn left onto the Stationsplein. Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the main road, Zijlweg. Cross the road and continue walking straight onto the Groot Heiligland street. The Frans Hals Museum will be on your left at number 62.
Bus
From The Hague, take bus line 22 from the bus stop at Den Haag Centraal. Ride for about 35 minutes and get off at the 'Haarlem, Station' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk towards the station entrance, then turn left onto the Stationsplein. Walk straight ahead for about 5 minutes, cross Zijlweg, and continue onto Groot Heiligland. The Frans Hals Museum will be on your left at number 62.
Bike
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from various locations in The Hague. Head towards the route to Haarlem (approx. 25 KM). Follow the signs to the North Sea Canal and take the bike path along the canal. Once you reach Haarlem, cycle towards the city center. Look for Groot Heiligland street, where the Frans Hals Museum is located at number 62.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk to Haarlem from The Hague. The distance is about 25 KM, which may take around 5 hours. Start at The Hague Central Station, head towards the city center, and follow the signs leading to Haarlem. You will walk through beautiful Dutch landscapes. Make your way to the city center of Haarlem and once you reach Zijlweg, take a left to Groot Heiligland. The Frans Hals Museum is at number 62.
