    If you are starting from The Hague Central Station, exit the station and head north on Koningin Julianaplein. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Wagenstraat. Turn right onto Wagenstraat, which will lead you into the bustling area of the city. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Grote Marktstraat. Cross the street and head towards the Plein 1813, which is a public square. The Independence Monument is located at Plein 1813 4, 2514 JP Den Haag.     From The Hague Central Station, take tram line 1, 9, or 16 towards the direction of the city center. Get off at the stop 'Plein.'
