Walking
From the central area of Centrum, make your way towards Buitenhof. If you are near the Grote Kerk (Great Church), head south towards the Buitenhof square. You'll see a large square with a fountain. Continue walking towards the eastern side of the square. The Rijksmuseum de Gevangenpoort is located at Buitenhof 33, which is just a short walk from the square. It should take you about 5-10 minutes on foot.

Public Transport
If you are further away in Centrum, you can take tram line 1 or 17 from any central tram stop towards the direction of Scheveningen or Statenkwartier. Disembark at the 'Hofweg' stop. From there, head east on Hofweg until you reach the Buitenhof square. The Rijksmuseum de Gevangenpoort is located on the square at Buitenhof 33. Tram tickets cost around €3.20 and can be purchased at ticket machines located at tram stops.
