Getting There

  • Train

    From The Hague Central Station (Den Haag Centraal), take a train towards Gouda. You can board a train heading to either Utrecht or Rotterdam, as both routes will stop at Gouda. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Gouda train station, exit the station and turn left onto the 'Stationsweg'. Continue walking until you reach the 'Korte Tiendeweg'. Follow this road which will lead you directly to the Markt. Stadhuis van Gouda (the City Hall) is located at Markt 1.

  • Bus

    From The Hague, you can take bus line 31 from the 'Kijkduin' bus stop towards Gouda. The journey takes around 50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Gouda bus station, walk towards the 'Brouwerstraat' and continue onto 'Markt'. Stadhuis van Gouda will be right in front of you at Markt 1.

  • Bicycle

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in The Hague. Follow the signs to the 'Fietsroute' (bicycle route) towards Gouda. The bike ride will take you approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. You’ll pass through beautiful countryside and small villages.
