If you are driving, head towards the Twentekanaal which is located at coordinates 52.2205, 6.5573. From major towns in Twente, such as Enschede or Hengelo, follow the signs towards the A35 motorway. Take the exit towards Almelo/Oldenzaal (A35) and merge onto the A35. Follow the A35 for approximately 15 km and take exit 29 towards Wierden. Continue on the N347 and then turn onto the Twentekanaal. There is ample parking available nearby.

For public transportation, start by taking a train to either Almelo or Hengelo stations, which are well connected by NS (Dutch Railways) trains. From Almelo, take bus line 6 or 7 towards 'Zenderen' and get off at 'Twentekanaal'. Buses run frequently, but check the schedule in advance. In Hengelo, you can take bus line 1 towards 'Almelo' and get off at the same stop. The bus fare is approximately €3-€5, depending on your starting point.
