If you are starting from Utrecht Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main square, called the 'Jaarbeursplein'. From there, follow the signs to the 'Vredenburg'. Once at Vredenburg, take the tram line 2 towards 'Bunnik' or line 8 towards 'Utrecht Vaartsche Rijn'. Get off at the 'Haarlem' tram stop. After exiting the tram, walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the 'Botermarkt'. The market is located in the Oude Stad area of Haarlem, and you will recognize it by the lively atmosphere and various stalls.
