Getting There

• Public Transport

  From Utrecht Central Station, take the train to Amsterdam Central Station. The train departs frequently, approximately every 15 minutes. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head towards the tram stop located right outside. Take tram line 1, 2, or 5 towards the direction of Leidseplein. Get off at the 'Leidseplein' stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Melkweg. Head south on Leidseplein, and then turn right onto Lijnbaansgracht. Continue walking until you reach Lijnbaansgracht 234A, where Melkweg is located.

• Walking

  If you are already in the city center of Utrecht, you can walk to Melkweg by first heading to Utrecht Central Station. From there, take the train to Amsterdam Central Station as mentioned above. After getting off at Amsterdam Central Station, walk towards the tram stop outside the station. Take tram line 1, 2, or 5 to Leidseplein and follow the walking directions from there.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Utrecht and cycle to Amsterdam. The route is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour long, depending on your pace. Head northwest towards Amsterdam via the N230 road, which leads directly into the city. Once you reach Amsterdam, navigate towards the city center and follow the signs to Leidseplein. Once at Leidseplein, turn onto Lijnbaansgracht and continue to Lijnbaansgracht 234A.
