Public Transport
From Utrecht Central Station, take the intercity train to Rotterdam Central Station. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Rotterdam Central Station, exit the station and head towards the tram stop located just outside. Take tram line 7 (direction Willemsplein) or tram line 20 (direction Spijkenisse) and get off at the Blijdorp stop. From the Blijdorp tram stop, it is a short walk to the Rotterdam Zoo, which is located at Blijdorplaan 8. Follow the signs towards the zoo entrance.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental stations in Utrecht. Head towards the city center and follow the signs for the route to Rotterdam. The journey is about 35 kilometers and will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Rotterdam, follow the signs to Blijdorplaan, where the zoo is located. There are bike racks available at the zoo for parking your bicycle.

From Utrecht, take the bus 120 from the Utrecht Vaartsche Rijn station towards Rotterdam. The bus journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Rotterdam, get off at the nearest stop to the zoo. From there, follow the local signs directing you to Blijdorplaan, which will lead you directly to the entrance of the Rotterdam Zoo.
