Walking
If you are in the city center of Utrecht, start at the Dom Tower (Domtoren) located at Domplein. Head south towards the intersection with Oudegracht. Turn right onto Oudegracht and continue until you reach the intersection with Neude. From Neude, walk straight to Vredenburg and continue on Vredenburg until you reach the train station (Utrecht Centraal). From there, take a direct train to Amsterdam Centraal Station. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and head southeast towards the Amstel River. Continue walking along the river until you reach Amstel 115/125, where the Royal Theater Carré is located.
Public Transport
From Utrecht, head to Utrecht Centraal Station. Purchase a ticket for a train to Amsterdam Centraal Station. Trains run frequently, so you should find one every 15-30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and catch tram line 14 or 4, heading towards the 'De Omval' stop. Get off at the 'Muntplein' stop. From there, walk southeast along Amstelstraat until you reach Amstel 115/125, where the Royal Theater Carré is located. The entire journey takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike at one of the bike rental shops in Utrecht. Start from the center of Utrecht and head towards the nearest bike path leading to Amsterdam. Follow the signs for the Fietsroute (bicycle route) to Amsterdam. The route will take you through scenic areas and is approximately 40 km long, which will take about 2 hours. Once you arrive in Amsterdam, follow the signage towards Amstel and navigate to Amstel 115/125, where the Royal Theater Carré is located.
