Walking
From Utrecht Central Station, exit the station and head towards the bus station. Catch bus number 120 towards Amsterdam and get off at the Amsterdam, Bijlmer Arena stop. From there, take the train towards Amsterdam Centraal and get off at the Amsterdam Centraal station. Once you exit the train station, head towards the Damrak, which is the street in front of the station. Walk towards the right along the canal until you reach the Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge). It will be on your left side along the Herengracht canal.

From Utrecht Central Station, take a direct Intercity train to Amsterdam Centraal. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and head towards the Damrak. Walk straight along the Damrak until you reach the canal. Continue walking along the canal until you see the Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge) on your left.

If you're in Utrecht and want to cycle to Amsterdam, you can rent a bicycle from a local bike rental shop. Start by heading towards the N232 road, which will lead you out of Utrecht. Follow the signs to Amsterdam, which is approximately a 45-minute ride away. Once you reach Amsterdam, follow the signs to the city center. When you get to the Herengracht canal, look for the Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge) which will be on your left.
