From Utrecht Central Station, take a train towards Amsterdam Central Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal on the right side of the station.

At the bus terminal, take bus number 397 towards 'Amsterdam Museumplein'. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Museumplein' stop, which is right in front of the Van Gogh Museum.

From Amsterdam Central Station, you can also take tram line 2 towards 'Zuid' or tram line 12 towards 'Amstelveenseweg'. Get off at 'Museumplein'. The tram journey takes about 20 minutes, and the Van Gogh Museum will be a short walk from the tram stop.

If you prefer walking, from Amsterdam Central Station, you can walk to the Van Gogh Museum. Exit the station and head towards Damstraat, then take a left onto Rokin. Continue straight until you reach the 'Leidsestraat' intersection, turn right and follow the signs to Museumplein. This walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
