Turn left onto Oudegracht, and follow the canal until you reach the central railway station (Utrecht Centraal). Once at the station, take a train to Amsterdam Central Station. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. After arriving at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and walk towards the east along the Damrak street until you reach the Dam Square. From Dam Square, walk southeast along Rokin street until you reach the Blauwbrug bridge, which crosses the Amstel River.
