From the central bus station in Utrecht, take bus number 12 towards 'Zuilen'. Get off at 'Zuilen, Brug' stop. From there, transfer to bus number 313 towards 'Marken'. Stay on the bus for approximately 45 minutes until you reach the 'Marken, Oosterpad' stop. The lighthouse is a short walk from the bus stop.
Train and Bus
Take a train from Utrecht Central Station to Amsterdam Central Station. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central, follow the signs to the bus terminal and catch bus number 110 towards 'Marken'. After about 30 minutes, get off at 'Marken, Oosterpad' stop. The lighthouse will be a few minutes' walk from there.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Utrecht. Head towards the 'Oude Gracht' and follow the signs to the 'Nederlandsche Spoorwegen' (NS) train station. Take the bike path towards 'Marken'. The ride will take approximately 1.5 hours. Follow the signs to 'Oosterpad' once you reach Marken, and you will find the lighthouse easily.
Walking
Walking to Marken from Utrecht is quite a trek but can be a scenic route. Start at Utrecht Central Station and head north towards the 'Oude Gracht'. Follow the river path and continue towards 'Zuidhorn'. Keep following the paths leading to Marken, which will take approximately 3 hours. Once you arrive in Marken, follow the signs to 'Oosterpad' to find the lighthouse.
