From the center of Utrecht, start at the Dom Tower (Domtoren) in the Domplein square. Head west towards the Vismarkt, passing through the charming streets of the city. Continue walking along the Oudegracht, the main canal, for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with the Nieuwegracht. Turn right onto the Nieuwegracht and follow it until you reach the Amsterdam Centraal Train Station. Once at the station, take a train to Amsterdam Centraal (approximately 30 minutes). From the station in Amsterdam, exit and head south towards the Damrak. Continue walking until you reach the Oudezijds Voorburgwal, which is located to the east of the Red Light District.

From Utrecht Central Station (Utrecht CS), purchase a ticket to Amsterdam Centraal. Board a train heading to Amsterdam (trains run frequently, approximately every 15 minutes). The train journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and follow the signs to the main exit. From there, turn left and walk towards the Damrak. Continue walking straight until you reach the Oudezijds Voorburgwal.

From the center of Utrecht, head to the nearest bus stop (e.g., at Neude). Take bus line 120 towards Amsterdam. Get off at the Amsterdam Amstel station. From the Amstel station, transfer to the train towards Amsterdam Centraal. The train ride will take about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit and walk towards the Damrak. Continue straight until you reach the Oudezijds Voorburgwal.
